What is Hourglass?

Hourglass is a protocol designed to improve liquidity for time-bound and semi-fungible tokens. It consists of Hourglass Boost, which allows users to time-lock their assets for boosted yields, and Hourglass RFQ, a market for buying and selling these time-bound tokens. Hourglass aims to address the duration mismatch between short-term user deposits and long-term protocol commitments, making it a valuable tool for DeFi protocols.

As part of a cross-functional team of 3 designers, I contributed to the design and development of a complex finance-based information-rich interface. I was primarily responsible for the design system, prototype, micro-interactions, and multi-device layout. I worked closely with other designers, managers, developers, and stakeholders to create a user-friendly and seamless experience, while also reducing cognitive overload and ensuring accessibility across all devices. It was a challenging but rewarding experience, and I learned a great deal from working with such a talented team.
